By downloading, installing, or using PuristIQ ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.
PuristIQ is a mobile application that helps users scan and analyze food ingredient labels. The App works offline, storing all personal data locally on your device. It is an educational tool and does not constitute medical or nutritional advice.
PuristIQ is an informational assistant, not a medical device. The information provided by the App is for general educational purposes only. Always verify ingredient labels manually, especially if you have allergies or medical conditions. The developer assumes no responsibility for scanning errors or ingredient detection failures.
All personal data (profiles, scan history, preferences) is stored locally on your device. If you choose to enable the optional Cloud Backup feature, your data is saved to your own Google Drive or iCloud account. PuristIQ does not have access to your backup files. You are responsible for managing your cloud storage and backup files.
PuristIQ offers optional premium subscriptions that unlock additional features. By purchasing a subscription, you agree to the following:
The developer reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App (or any part thereof) at any time, with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the service.
The App is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that ingredient detection will be accurate in all cases.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to health decisions made based on App results.
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page when changes are made.
